The new Beacon with built-in Bluetooth Receiver from Anchor Audio requires
no training or tools. The patented line array tower can be opened in less than a minute. The enclosure includes three 8” woofers
and an array of eight 4" mid-range speakers that deploys up to a height of 6’. Simply unlock the line array, flip it around and lock it again. Then turn on the microphone, pair your bluetooth device or use the built-in media player and the system is ready to go. With a conveniently built-in pull handle, wheels and storage compartments, the 51 lb. Beacon can easily be wheeled around.
Wireless UHF Microphones: Beacon sound systems may be equipped with one or two optional
built-in wireless UHF receivers, each with a separate volume control. To avoid potential interference should several wireless
sound systems be employed in close proximity, all UHF components have 16 user selectable channels. The wireless UHF microphone transmitters are available in the conventional handheld style and belt-pack style with choice of headband mic, over the ear UltraLite microphone, collar mic, or, lapel microphone. Typical transmission
range is 300 ft. To view microphone options, click on the "options" tab above the systems packages.
Inputs: All Beacon sound systems feature two balanced XLR phantom powered microphone
inputs and one line input. The Line input is accessible through a 1/4" jack, a 3.5 mm mini stereo jack and two conventional RCA connectors. Each of the three inputs have a separate volume controls providing
the user full control over the mix. The line level volume control also controls the MP3 player. For added flexibility, the the Beacon is also equipped with user adjustable bass and treble controls.
Voice over Music: As the ideal portable PA system, Beacon incorporates a voice
over music feature that allows the speaker to clearly be heard over music playback. When a microphone input is activated,
the line level input (usually background music from the MP3 player or external MP3/CD player) automatically is attenuated 12 dB.
New CD/MP3 Combo Player: The Beacon is now available with a built-in combo MP3/CD player featuring all the controls of a conventional CD/MP3 player. The MP3 player accepts SD Card and USB Flash Drive. In addition, the player is equipped with a 3.5 mm mini-jack for other audio sources such as iPods, lap tops, etc. The CD player includes a remote control.
Outputs: The Beacon features a 1/4" as well as a left/right RCA line level output for those wishing to record an event or simply daisy-chain two or more sound systems for
greater coverage. Wireless Beacon systems may be deployed as long as these are placed within the transmission range of the wireless microphones. If music playback is desired for multiple
wireless Beacon systems, a playback patch cord allows for hookup between a iPod, CD or cassette recorder and the belt-pack
transmitter. A 12 volt .5 Amp DC coax output jack can feed an external UHF-6400 receiver making it possible to operate three wireless microphones on battery power. A convenient USB port is also provided for charging of iPods, cell phones, etc.
Power: The rated power output is 150 watts in AC mode and 125 watts in DC mode. With true AC/DC power supply and a battery
operating time of 6-8 hours, the Beacon is truly versatile. A charge circuit recharges drained batteries in 7 hours for a full charge with LEDs displaying the charge condition. AC operating requirement is 100 - 240 Volts 50/60 Hz, 300 Watts max. The Beacon can
also operate from a 12 volt power source such as an auto power port.
