Beacon combines the clarity and smooth sound coverage of a line array system with a patent-pending enclosure that eliminates the need for a speaker stand. Standing 6' tall in a corner, the Beacon provides a 120 degree pattern of a distance of 500’ which covers the area of a football field with just one system. The AC/DC powered Beacon line array is a one of a kind in portable sound systems.

The Beacon Line Array Sound System from Anchor Audio requires no training or tools. The patented line array tower can be opened in less than a minute. The enclosure includes two 8” woofers and an array of eight 3.5” mid-range speakers that deploys up to a height of 6’. It is available with CD player and wireless microphones. With a  conveniently built-in pull handle, wheels and storage compartments, the 45 lb Beacon can easily be wheeled around. A traveling hard case makes Beacon the ultimate solution for users who demand high power and fidelity in one portable package.

Wireless UHF Microphones: Beacon sound systems may be equipped with one or two optional built-in wireless UHF receivers, each with a separate volume control. To avoid potential interference should several wireless sound systems be employed in close proximity, all UHF components have 16 agile user selectable channels. Typical transmission range is 300 ft. The wireless UHF microphone transmitters are available in a handheld version and/or a body-pack equipped with choice of lapel mic, collar mic, headband mic, or, an all new  barely seen over the ear UltraLite microphone.

Inputs: All Beacon models feature two balanced/unbalanced Mic/Line  XLR -1/4" input jacks. A third line level source may be connected through a 1/4" jack or stereo RCA jacks. The Beacon is also available with a outboard CD player connected internally with a 3. mm mini jack located inside a side compartment. This mini jack input may may also be used with a Walkman style CD player, iPod or cassette player.  Microphone/line inputs have separate volume controls providing the user full control over the mix.

Voice over Music:  As the ideal portable PA system, Beacon incorporates a Voice over music feature that allows the speaker to clearly be heard over music playback. When a microphone input is activated, the line level input (usually background music from a CD or cassette player) automatically is attenuated 12 dB.

Outputs: The rated power output is 300 watts in AC mode and 60 watts in DC mode. For even greater coverage additional Beacon systems may be deployed as long as these are placed within the transmission range of the wireless microphones. If music playback is desired for multiple wireless Beacon systems, a special patch cord allows for hookup between a iPod, CD or cassette recorder and the belt-pack transmitter. For added flexibility, the the Beacon is also equipped with user adjustable bass and treble controls. In addition, the Beacon features a 1/4" line out as well as a left/right RCA recording output for those wishing to record an event.

Power Source: The Beacon is truly versatile with true AC/DC power supply and a battery operating time of 6-8 hours. With a rapid charging circuit it recharges drained battery in as little as 60 minutes. It can also operate from a 12 volt power source such as an auto power port. LED displays battery level and charge condition.

Warranty Statement: Beacon portable sound systems are warranted by Anchor Audio to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of SIX (6) YEARS from original date of purchase. Beacon rechargeable battery is warranted for a period of Two (2) Years.
