Beacon Portable Wireless Line Array Sound System

The Beacon Line Array is a battery powered portable line array sound system like no other on the market. The line array tower is securely stored in the base but unfolds in less than a minute. With a line array consisting of eight 4” neodymium speakers and three 8” subwoofers in the base, the Beacon provides a full range of clear sound that spreads evenly over large crowds.Beacon Portable line Array sound system With a conveniently built-in pull handle, wheels and storage compartments, the 51 lb Beacon can easily be wheeled around.

Wireless UHF Microphones: Beacon sound systems are equipped with one or two factory installed wireless UHF receivers. The wireless UHF microphone transmitters are available in a handheld version and/or a belt-pack equipped with choice of lapel mic, collar mic, headband mic, or, a barely seen over the ear UltraLite microphone. If wireless music playback from a laptop or personal CD/MP3 player to one or more systems is desired, a special patch cord for the WB-6000/8000 belt-pack transmitter is available (see accessories tab). To avoid potential interference should several wireless sound systems be employed in close proximity, all UHF components have 16 agile user selectable channels. Transmission range is 150+ ft.

Bluetooth Receiver: The functionality, flexibility, and utility of the Beacon sound system is greatly increased with Bluetooth capability! The top-of-the-line Anchor Audio Bluetooth module allows you to connect your Bluetooth enabled device to your Anchor Audio system with a strong connection and an incredible range of up to 100 ft. True to Anchor Audio character, operation is simple, and the applications are endless.Beacon Control Panel

Wired Inputs: All Beacon sound systems feature two balanced XLR phantom powered microphone inputs and one line input. The Line input is accessible through a 1/4" jack, a 3.5 mm mini stereo jack and two conventional RCA connectors. Each of the three inputs have a separate volume controls providing the user full control over the mix.

CD/MP3 Player: The standard Beacon systems (non-AIR) are equipped with a built-in combo MP3/CD combo player featuring all the controls of a conventional CD/MP3 player. The CD/MP3 combo player supports WMA and MP3 files, as well as CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 disks. Input slots for play are CD, USB, and SD card slot, for other music player devices. The player comes with a remote control.

Outputs: The Beacon features a 1/4" as well as a left/right RCA line level output for those wishing to record an event or simply daisy-chain two or more sound systems for greater coverage. Several wireless Beacon systems may be deployed as long as these are placed within the transmission range of the wireless microphones. If music playback is desired for multiple wireless Beacon systems, a playback patch cord allows for hookup between a iPod, CD or cassette recorder and the belt-pack transmitter.Liberty AIR transmitter and reciever control panels A USB charge port is standard on all systems.

Power: The rated power output is 150 watts in AC mode and 125 watts in DC mode. With true AC/DC power supply and a battery operating time of 6-8 hours, the Beacon is truly versatile. A charge circuit recharges drained batteries in 7 hours for a full charge with LEDs displaying the charge condition. AC operating requirement is 100 - 240 Volts 50/60 Hz, 300 Watts max.

Wireless AIR Option: Beacon is available with an optional built-in transmitter that wirelessly connects to one or more Beacon AIR battery powered companion speakers. There is no limit to how many wireless AIR companion speakers can be added to a system as long as they are within the transmission range of the main unit. The AIR transmitter physically replaces the CD/MP3 player but all other inputs/outputs are the same as the standard Beacon system. The Beacon AIR system operates in the 902-928 MHz band. The transmitting Beacon speaker and the AIR wireless companion speaker both feature a LED display with controls to synchronize the units to anyone of 100 user selectable channels. To preserve battery life when systems are used without wireless connection, both transmitter and receiver can be powered off individually. AIR companion speakers can be placed within 150+ feet from the main unit without experiencing latency and/or breaking wireless connection. The Beacon AIR receivers feature the basic functions as the Beacon transmitter system. If the second speaker is purchased with optional wireless receivers, the two systems can be used separately.

ADA Compliance: Since Anchor Audio's assistive listening receivers, ALB-9000, are also on 902-928 MHz, they are compatible with the AIR transmitter and can create a simple and reliable ADA compliant sound system.International symbol for hearing accessibillity To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Building Code (CBC), a minimum of 2 receivers with earphones and 2 neckloops are required. However, the actual number depends on the occupant load as outlined in this Quick Chart. Centrum Sound does not include receivers with any packages. If receivers are needed, they can be added or purchased separately (see the AIR Speakers and Accessories tab).
