TOUR-9000 Audio Guide System
Anchor Audio’s Tour-9000 wireless audio guide system help tour members clearly hear the tour guide at distances up to 200 feet away, be it indoor in a noisy factory setting or outdoor in a street with lots of traffic noise. The TOUR-9000 system features a 100-channel UHF diversity receiver system that effectively minimizes dropouts and interference from other sources. In fact, the system is so quiet that you may not even realize it is on until the tour guide speaks into the microphone. Apart from being a great tour guide system, the Tour-9000 can also be used for simultaneous language interpretation as well as assistive listening. A separate transmitter with microphone is required for each additional language. For information about using the system for assisted listening applications, click on the "ADA " tab above.
The WB-9000 beltpack transmitter included with the TOUR-9000 package utilizes the same comfortable high quality hands free headset microphone, model HBM-TA4. It is a proven headset used with countless wireless microphones systems incorporated in all of Anchor Audio's large venue PA and sound systems. When used with with the included replaceable foam windscreen, a notable improvement in wind noise and breathing noise reduction is achieved. Both transmitters and receivers are equipped with LED displays for easy channel synchronization. Channels can be changed to any one of 100 available frequencies set with internal up and down push button selectors (click on the receiver image on left for an expanded view). A volume control and a push-button on-off switch constitute the only user operated controls on receivers as well as transmitter. Lightweight in-ear headphones is standard with all receivers. However, tour members can and/or may prefer to use their own compatible smart-phone earphones. The system is supplied with AA alkaline batteries but rechargeable batteries may also be used. When ordering the system through Centrum Sound, a convenient carry case with die cut foam holding up to 12 units plus earphones and headset microphone is included. If a combination of more than 12 transmitter/receiver units is required, we recommend upgrading to a 22-slot carry case as shown in the above "A La Carte" menu.
