Features FM+ 557-558 Dual Wi-Fi Systems

The FM+ 557 and FM+ 558 large area systems offer complete solutions for assistive listening, language interpretation, or audio description application. PRO versions includes essential installation accessories. With the optional Dante-enabled FM+ C transmitter, the system streams real-time audio over FM and Wi-Fi with DSP audio processing for exceptional sound clarity. It also integrates smoothly with third-party room controls for effortless operation.

The cornerstone FM T55 FM Wi-Fi transmitter easily integrates with existing sound systems but can also be used with a microphone as a stand-alone system.PPA T45 large area transmitter With a range of up to 1000 feet,the FM T55 is ideal for large venues where superior coverage is essential. This allows listeners to sit anywhere in the area and listen to the broadcast at the level they need without disturbing others around them. For ADA compliance in public facilities, Williams Sound offers a choice of three FM receiver styles which may be used for assistive listening, language interpretation and/or audio description alike.

If Wi-Fi audio is desired, the FM T55 can connect to a local Wi-Fi network with a standard Ethernet cable. This allows users to listen in using their own smart phones. A one-time download of the WaveCAST App is all that is required. The WaveCAST App can be downloaded from Google Play for Android devices or the Apple App Store for IOS devices. The PPA R37 Select Channel FM Receiver features easy-to-use, seek-button channel selection with access to 17 pre-set wideband frequencies between 72-76 MHz.PPA R37 receiver The stylish, impact-resistant receiver offers crystal clear audio and is compatible with any Williams Sound FM wideband transmitter. Receivers include a detachable belt-clip for hands-free operation. A standard 3.5 mm stereo phone jack accommodates low-impedance mono earphones, headphones and neckloops (the ADA accessibility requirements for hearing assistance requires one neckloop per four receivers or a minimum of two). The PPA R37 receiver is equipped with an integrated volume on/off switch and a green LED power on indicator. PPA R38 receiverThe green power on LED will illuminate red indicating low battery power. The PPA R37 receiver operates on two AA alkaline batteries for 50 hours of long-lasting operation. A battery selector switch inside the battery compartment also permits use of NiMH rechargeable batteries. Operating time with NiMH rechargeable batteries is approximately 32 hours.

The PPA R38 Multi-Channel FM receiver (right) share the same ergonomically design features as the PPA R37 receivers. An on-screen channel selector with easy access to 17 pre-set, wideband frequencies (72-76 MHz) easily lets the user select the appropriate channel, audio description, language translations and/or in combination with a hearing assistance application. Other features include digital tuning, digital squelch and battery-saving sleep mode. A new stereo jack paired with the mono jack adds compatibility with a variety of earphones/headphones. The battery life for the PPA R38 is approximately 50 hours with alkaline batteries and 32 hours with BAT-026-2 1500 mAh rechargeable NiMH batteries.

The CHG 3512 and CHG 3512 PRO multi-unit, drop-in style charger will conveniently store and charge up to 12 Williams Sound PPA R37, PPA R38, CHG 3512 12-Unit chargerR35-8, CHG3502 Two-Unit drop-in chargerR36, R863, RX22-4 receivers, or PPA T36, PPA T46, PFM T36, T863 transmitters over the course of a 16-hour time span. The charger helps keep receivers organized and saves cost on having to replace alkaline batteries. The charger features individual charging LED indicators that blink when batteries are ready. The CHG 3512 PRO includes a convenient portable carry case. A Dual Drop-In Charger, CHG 3502, (right) is also available. The standard version includes a US power supply (120 VAC). Other power supplies are available upon request.

Note: The FM T55 transmitter is approved by the FCC for operation in U.S. markets. The transmitter can not be used in all countries. Check with your government´s radio regulations for 72 - 76 MHz operation.
